It proved to be an emotional day for members of the Brennan family as their home located on Ville Marie Drive in Marystown fell victim to Power’s Excavator Thursday.

It proved to be an emotional day for members of the Brennan family in Marystown.

Their childhood home fell victim to Power’s Excavator Thursday after the foundation had deteriorated beyond repair.

The home of Annie and the late Michael Brennan had stood for over 70 years.

The Brennans raised a large family in the house and it proved to be one of a dwindling number of older two story homes disappearing from the town’s landscape.
