It proved to be a foot stomping time Sunday afternoon.

The annual Marystown Volunteer Fire Department demolition derby was held Sunday afternoon at Black Brook on the Marystown-Burin highway.

The annual event wais part of the Marystown Summer Festival weekend.

Crowds of onlookers made their annual trek to the gravel pit near the Department of Highways sand/salt depot for the spectacle.
