Gas declines; other fuels rise

The price of gasoline fell slightly at the pumps today.

But while gas went down less than half a cent a litre, the price of other fuels climbed on average two cents a litre.

Burin Peninsula gas bars are now able to charge $1.398 a litre for regular self-serve gasoline; $1.428 for full service and $1.509 for diesel.

Heating fuels went up to $1.1067 a litre for furnace oil; $1.1364 for stove oil and propane is 73.6 cpl.
