Baine Harbour's Ross Kenway finished atop the men's standings at the provincial darts tournament in Gander last month.
A total of 58 players participated in the tournament. One point is awarded for each win and each player faced each other twice.
Kenway finished with 95 out of a possible 116 points.
The top eight men and women all qualified to move on to the 2008 National Championships in Winnipeg, Manitoba this June.
Kenway, who has been playing darts for around 30 years, has made the national team eight times.
Meanwhile, Marystown native Jenelle Legge took part in the provincial tournament on the women's side, finishing fourth with 60 points. Legge is currently living in Alberta.
