Targa races to the Burin Peninsula

Targa NL arrived on the Burin Peninsula today (Thursday) for the Heritage Run leg of the annual road rally.

Targa raced through Boat Harbour and Petite Forte, Marystown, Garnish and Frenchman's Cove Thursday.

The vehicles also held a 'Touring Stage' through Burin and Mortier in the afternoon.

The racers, and their co-drivers, made their way through the towns on the eastern side of the peninsula to the thrill of hundreds of fans.

After a stopover in Marystown, and car show at the Marystown Arena, Targa left the peninsula Friday exiting through Harbour Mille and Little Bay East and on up the road to the TCH.
