No child in Clarenville will go without pizza as schools reopen tomorrow, thanks to Shawn Hart at Donnini’s Pizza and Donairs.

For the second year in a row, Donnini’s has donated a free pizza slice coupon for every student from Kindergarten to Grade 12 at Riverside Elementary in Shoal Harbour, Clarenville Middle and Clarenville High.

With about 750 students at Riverside, 300 at Clarenville Middle and 325 at Clarenville High, that amounts to 1375 pizza slices for students in the area.

Hart laughed he just hopes he doesn’t get them all in one afternoon.

Donnini’s has donated the free slice cards every year of the Vista Summer Games in addition to the school donations.

The pizza restaurant celebrated its 20th year in Clarenville earlier this summer.
