GRAND BANK, NL – Santa was a busy man in Grand Bank on Saturday, Dec. 2.
First, Old Saint Nick was the guest of honour at a breakfast held at the fire hall.
Then in the afternoon, Santa climbed aboard a float with Mrs. Claus in the annual Christmas parade, waving and ringing his bell all the way through town on his sleigh.
This year the town combined festivities and held the annual Christmas tree light up at Frazer Park on the same day. Residents were able to buy bulbs from the Grand Bank Fire Department and place them on the tree in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
After the light up there were hot dogs and hot chocolate at the Grand Bank Lions Centre.
