Town benefits from new fire equipment BY GAZETTE STAFF The Southern Gazette
Grand Bank District MHA Darin King has announced the St. Lawrence Volunteer Fire Department and the Town have received $16,346.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Fire and Emergency Services approved the funding, under the Joint Emergency Preparedness Program (JEPP).
The funding will allow the fire department to purchase a new pager system, giving it the necessary communications system to respond to fire and emergency situations.
