The event, which just concluded its 30th edition, was again held in the gymnasium at Donald C. Jamieson Academy in Burin.

The festival, as per usual, brought together some familiar musical faces from around the region and throughout the province, along with a few new ones as well.

Among the featured performers for the three-day event was Pamela Morgan, a last-minute addition when Anita Best, who was scheduled to perform, had to drop out.

This year's festival also featured workshops on set dancing, ugly stick creation, step dancing and sea shanties.
