Francis Bragg was back in provincial court in Grand Bank on Thursday.

The Brookside resident entered a guilty plea on charges of unlawfully storing a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and providing liquor to minor.

Bragg is charged in relation to a shooting that occurred on New Year’s Eve in Brookside that left a youth from the community with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

Judge Harold Porter has set over the submission on sentencing to a later date to allow time for the preparation of a pre-sentencing report.

Bragg will return to court on the afternoon of July 5 at 1:30 p.m.
