ATV accident prompts emergency response in Beau Bois

Two people have been sent to hospital with unknow injuries following a ATV collision approximately an hour outside of the community of Beau Bois on a popular hiking/ATV trail, on Saturday, Sept 1.

Emergency responders used ATV’s to access the site of the collision and transport the riders back to the roadside where they could be brought by ambulance to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin.

Members from the Burin Peninsula RCMP, Marystown Volunteer Fire Department, Paramedics and the Burin Peninsula Ground Search and Rescue team arrived on the scene at approximately 5:30p.m.
