Ches Crosbie launches campaign for PC leadership in N.L.

Ches Crosbie formally launched his campaign for leader of the PC party by promising to literally make it illegal for politicians to lie.
Crosbie was light on details, but he proposed an “Honesty In Politics Act” which would have a low standard of proof, and would be enforceable by the courts.
Tuesdays night’s speech by Crosbie was supposed to be his official announcement that he's running for the Tory leadership, but his political ambitions have been the worst kept secret in N.L. politics for months.
Crosbie announced that the three pillars of his campaign will be strengthening the economy, restoring confidence in government and rebuilding the PC Party.
The actual leadership vote is in April. No other candidates have announced their intention to run for the PC party leadership.
