BURIN, NL – The Newfoundland Labrador Building Trades Council (NLBTC) has announced a $25,000 contribution on behalf of its members to support the ongoing fundraising efforts of the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation (BPHCF).

The donation will assist in the purchase of a variety of equipment and materials to support healthcare providers and enhance healthcare services for residents of the region.

“The Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation is a great example of the many individuals working hard to support healthcare throughout our province, and we are happy to confirm our support for their efforts with this contribution today,” NLBTC executive director Darin King said in a news release.

The NLBTC is an umbrella labour organization that promotes and coordinates the interests of 16 building and construction trades unions in Newfoundland and Labrador.
