With approximately 700 people in attendance the first night of the By The Sea Soiree was a hit, the three-day event organized by Steven Barnes, kicked of Friday evening with a solo set from Craig Young of Shanneyganock.

The Masterless Men kept the energy high with such favors as “The Leprechaun” and “Big Strong Man”, couples in the crowd also took he opportunity to get close and have a dance to some of the bands slower numbers.
Headliner’s Shanneyganock had the place up on blocks, as they performed a number of their will known selections such as “The Islander”, they also performed their rendition of the Simani favorite “Music and Friends”.
Chris Andrews, of the band thank the crowd for coming out to the show and assured them they would return to the community again in the future.
Entertainment at the Habour Mille ball field continues tonight with the Celtic Connection, and Blue Eyed Blonde
