N.L. fixed link study to be released

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will be talking transportation Wednesday, with the release of findings from a study on the possibility of a fixed link for travel between the island and mainland portions of the province.

A pre-feasibility study has been completed and details of the results are set to be shared in the early afternoon, at a press conference in St. John’s.

The premier is expected to attend, at Memorial University of Newfoundland’s R. Gushue Hall, along with Transportation Minister Steve Crocker and MHA for Cartwright-L’Anse au Clair Lisa Dempster, who is also the minister responsible for Children, Seniors and Social Development.
