Mushrooms recalled due to listeria contamination

Champ's Mushrooms brand Sliced Mini Bella Mushrooms are being recalled from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says consumers should not eat the recalled product.

The mushrooms are in 690-gram packages with best before date 15/JN/07 and UPC 6 78286 29837 6. The CFIA said they were distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and possibly national.

The recall was triggered by CFIA test results. The CFIA said there have been no reported illnesses associated with this product.
