Tossed rock on C.B.S. Bypass causes injury


A 19-year-old was sent to hospital Friday night after somebody threw rock through his windshield.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. Friday in an area known as the "rock cut" on the CBS Bypass police responded to reports of an unknown person throwing rocks from above into the traffic below. 

One of the rocks hit a windshield of a vehicle causing it to break and glass went into the occupant's eye.

An older orange/brown Jeep Wrangler was seen above where the rock was said to have have come from.

The police are asking anybody who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area to call the RNC at 729-8000.
