ST. JOHN’S, NL – The Department of Fisheries and Oceans is advising that as of April 15, the winter trout angling season for insular Newfoundland will be closed.
A statement released April 12 explains angling for trout in tidal waters will still be permitted, but the daily bag limit applies.
