A Florida man won the $1.58 billion Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday night, ending nearly four months of lottery futility.

Winning numbers drawn: 13 19 20 32 33 and yellow ball: 14.

Before Tuesday night’s big win, there had been 31 straight drawings since someone last won the game’s jackpot on April 18. This allowed the prize to grow steadily. Third largest in US history.

The $1.58 billion payout goes to the winner if they choose an annuity paid over 30 years. But people generally prefer the lump sum option, which is estimated at $783.3 million for Tuesday’s jackpot.

Prize money is subject to federal taxes. Many states tax lottery winnings.
