An Atlanta-area special grand jury has completed its work investigating whether former President Donald Trump and his associates broke the law in an attempt to rig the 2020 election. According to a new court filing.

“The Special Purpose Grand Jury has rendered its final report, and upon the recommendation of the undersigned and the Superior Court bench vote, it is order of this Court that the Special Purpose Grand Jury is now dissolved,” Judge Robert McBurney, presiding. Grand juries in Georgia are not authorized to issue indictments. But the panel will issue a final report, which serves as a mechanism for a special grand jury to recommend whether the Fulton County district attorney.
