The province’s Volunteer Hall of Fame inducted six new members at its annual gala event on Thursday night.

Joining the hall are the late Don Johnson, Topsail’s Dr. Kathleen Pratt Legrow, Margaret “Muggs” Tibbo from St. John’s, The Gathering Place, Mount Pearl’s Lucy Stoyles and the late Katty Gallant of Gambo.

The Hall was launched in 2012 by The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Newfoundland and Labrador with the primary goal of honoring, documenting and recognizing the significant efforts of those in our province who have made long-standing volunteer efforts.
