Burin Peninsula RCMP seek public’s help identifying suspect in theft of firearms from a home in Winterland

BURIN PENINSULA, N.L.

On Friday, Jan. 4, Burin Peninsula RCMP received a report from a homeowner in Winterland advising that while away from the residence between the dates of Dec. 31, 2018, to Jan. 4, 2019, someone had entered the home and stole three shotguns and two rifles.

Police seek the public’s help in identifying the culprit(s). Anyone with information about this incident, contact the Burin Peninsula RCMP at 709-279-3001.
