A 34-year-old man from Lawn, was arrested during a traffic stop in Marystown at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 17.
The driver of the vehicle, who was found to be impaired by alcohol, provided a breath sample that was nearly two times the legal limit. He was operating a vehicle without a driver’s licence, registration or insurance
Police issued a number of tickets under the Highway Traffic Act, seized and impounded the vehicle for 30 days and charged the man with impaired driving offences.
He is scheduled to attend court on April 24.
